They pop up overnight, these white ghosts of the forest floor. White mushroom: are you safe to eat, or are you the angel of death, the destroying angel with toxins that poison? I am not so sure in my identification skills to be able to say, and so I will move on and let you be. There is no need to disturb that which is not disturbing me. Instead, I will honor your time here above the soil and the leaves by creating this illustration, the dark background meant to make clear that you are the subject.

Each 8 x 10 inch giclee print is printed on archive quality 310 gram per square meter (GSM) textured German etching paper using archival pigment inks.
